Youth and Politics: A Study of First Time Voters in Delhi

A recent study conducted by A Lokniti-CSDS among 1,290 first-time voters (comprising 47% young men and 53% young women) in Delhi delves into their intricate political preferences. The study not only examines their party preferences for governance at both national and state levels but also analyzes the specific issues that resonate with this demographic. Acknowledging the strategic significance of engaging with this group, political parties are actively launching initiatives to connect with millions of first-time voters. This outreach aims not only to establish a connection but also to garner their support for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
