Status of Policing in India Report 2020 Round III

Based on a sample of 10489 interviews from 19 states, the third round of Status of Policing in India Report 2020 is divided into two volumes: I- Policing in conflict-affected regions; and II- Policing during Covid19 and consequential lockdowns. The study is being conducted by Lokniti in collaboration with the Common Cause.

The survey work in all districts/cities of 19 states (except one district of Jammu & Kashmir) has been successfully completed and the team is currently working on the data analysis for the two reports. The release of the two reports is tentatively scheduled for the end of February, 2021.
