In a state which is known for Bhakti or hero worship, Sasikala has emerged as the ‘Chinamma’ of Tamil politics. Everyone is curious to see how the AIADMK functions post-Jayalaithaa.
The immediate aftermath of the ‘Demonetisation exercise’ had caused much disruption to normal economic life with long queues at banks, ATMs and low demand for a number of goods and services.
