Nivedita Rao is currently pursuing her M.A. in Development Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. Her undergraduate studies have been in the discipline of Economics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi. Current research interests include socio-economic analysis of the electorate, the political articulation of the middle class identity and class as a heuristic device.

Shashwat Dhar has completed his Bachelors in Political Science from Hindu College, University of Delhi. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Development Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences(TISS), Mumbai. His area of research interests includes Electoral Politics and the Dynamics of Democracy in India.
