Research Interests:
Sanjay's area of research for the past several years has been studying the electoral system, analyzing the electoral politics and mapping of changing patterns of democracy. While India remains his primarily research locale, his research interest extends to other South Asian countries as well. He had been trying to study the functioning of the electoral process with reference to issues like patterns and strategies of electoral mobilization, and issues of electoral violence. Sanjay's research draws heavily from the empirical studies.
